    # FBL Roll the Dice! #
    ##################################################

Well if this is the first time you have started up MapleStory, I recommend
    you first to read
a other guide on how to use Maple. If you just wanna create a new character
    because you got
bored with your always the same mage, weak warrior or expensive thief then
    don't mind to
    cheack this guide!

Well I hope you know how to create a new character, so go the the new
    character creen. The dice
rolling is very imporant because this can get you a lot of extra damage.
    Well here under here you
can see how your dice rolling should end up if you want to have a perfect
    crossbowman.

    STR: XX
    DEX: XX
    INT: 04
    LUK: 04

'XX' means that it does not matter how much those abbility's are. Most
guide's say INT or LUK should
be 4 or 5, I say 4 and 4 because also this could give you some extra damage
    however it won't be much
different. And it is just cool to be able to say: 'I got perfect stats >,>'.
Well it COULD take you some time to get 4 INT and 4 LUK (it took me 1 hour
    and 15 minutes) but most
of the time your done within 10 minutes.

    Tip:
    - Make sure you reach 25 DEX before you make level 10.

    ##################################################
    # BLF Begin your Journey: Maple Island #
    ##################################################

You just rolled the dice and you got perfect stats (XX STR, XX DEX, 04
INT, 04 DEX) and now you
will begin your journey trough Maple Island!
Well it is fun to do the beginner quest just because they give you some
    money and potions etc.
The money and potions are very usefull on level 7 ~ 10 on Maple Island but I
    will explain that
    later.

You will see the controls of the game when you start, just look at those
    carefull (if you are new
to Maple) or skip those if you already know them.
Talk to the lady, standing right next to you and you will be transported to
a new place in a Apple
suit! Woot! Well check the movies on the screens they can be very usefull if
    you are new. And talk
with all the people standing there.
Some of the people may ask you a favor, this is called a quest. Press 'Q' to
    get into your questlog
and click on a quest to see what you must get/do. Press on 'Quest Helper' in
    the quest log to have
the quest in your Quest Helper on the right top of the screen ('L' to
    maximalise or minimalise).

When you did all the quests of the trainings camp you are done to go out and
    start your journey in
Maple Island! When you get out of the trainings camp stay in the first map,
    in the middle of the
map a guy is standing waiting for you to do his quest.
His quest is to kill 10 Snails
    (http://global.hidden-street.net/monsters/mons1.php to check how
    the monster looks).
Kill the Snails and after you did you will be around level 3 or level 4. Now
    walk trough the map
and walk untill you will get into the map called 'A Split Road' talk to
Maria (first NPC in the map)
and Mai (second NPC in the map). Request their quests (and finish the 'Kill
    the Snails' quest at Mai).

Since I already gave you that link to the monster list I don't need you to
    give it again. So if
you don't exactly know what the monsters are follow that link and I will
    just pray you know how
to find monsters from higher levels.

When you did all quests (I am not gonna help you with each quest because
    this is a Crossbowman Guide),
you should be around level 7 maybe 8. Go to the potion store in Amherst, buy
    50 ~ 100 Red Potions
(only do this if you have a fund when you get in Victoria Island) and go to
    Orange Muchroom (just try
to find those if your new).

Train at the Orange Muchroom untill level 10 (and remember, save 150 mesos
    for your boattrip to Victoria
    Island).

    Tip:
    - When I started my bowman on Maple Island I putted points into STR untill I
    had 20. This is usefull
because with 20 STR you are able to kill Orange Muchroom fast.

    ##################################################
    # LBF Begin your Journey: Victoria Island #
    ##################################################

You reached level 10! Congratulations! Now go to Southperry and walk the
the right, you will see Shanks
standing in front of a huge boat! Talk to him and pay 150 mesos to get to
    Victoria Island.
Well you are now in Victoria Island, this is the place where your journey
REALLY begins. Walk to the right
of Victoria Island and you will see a Viking named Olaf. Talk with him,
    answer his question and optain
some experience points. He will also ask you what job you will choose, click
'The Path of the Bowman' and
now walk back to the left of the map. You will see a guy named Phil. He can
    tell you some information about
Victoria Island etc. and he can transport you to other towns within Victoria
    Island. Since your a beginner
you will have a discount of 90%! So make his transport you to Henesys
because in this town you can make
your first job advancement as a bowman!

Your in Henesys now, congratulations! Now walk to the 'Muchroom Park' in the
map (it is in the middle/right
of the map) and get in it.
When you enter the map you will see a huge statue at the right of you. Walk
to it and press arrow up when
your in front of it. It will teleport you to the far right of the map, this
will save you some time. Now
you will see a some kind of tree house, enter the house and talk with the
NPC in it (Athena Pierce). She
    is your first job instructor.
Talk with Athena and finaly you are a bowman! Spend your first Skill Point
    on 'The Blessing of Amazon'.

Now go to Henesys Hunting Ground I (that it at the left side of Henesys,
shoudn't be hard to find) and stay
on the bottom of the map or if you have a fund, kill the slimes on the first
    plateau.
Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill all Snails, Blue
Snails, Red Snails and Shrooms on
the bottom of the map, don't know mercy! Kill them all!
Congratulations, you reached level 11! Now spend 2 Skill Points on The
Blessing of Amazon and 1 Skill Point
    on The Eye of Amazon.

you to stay on Henesys Hunting Ground I)
    Level 18 and 19 : Orange Muchroom
    Level 20 : Green Muchroom
Level 21 ~ 30 : Smuggle PQ*, however normal PQ is good too, but slower.

    # JPS Second Job Advancement #
    ##################################################

Well done, you reached level 30! Congratulations on making level 30 and
your 2nd Job Advancement! Since you are in
Kerning City (if you PQed) you should use the regular cab to Henesys or walk
to Henesys to make your 2nd Job Advancement.
Again, walk to Athena Pierse she will give you a letter that you must bring
and show to Bowman Job Instructor standing
in The Road to the Dungeon.
Give her the letter you obtained from Athena Pierce and you will be
transported in a hidden map. There are Zombie Muchroom
and Evil Eye in it and they do around 85 ~ 90 damage each. You will need
around 50 Orange Potions and 20 Mana Elixers
(I used up 24 Orange Potions and 10 Mana Elixer). Try to kill the monsters
walking on the botton as much as possible
because Wizet/Nexon forget Bowmans hit the monster if they come to close.
Collect all 30 Dark Marble and then talk to the Bowman Job Instructor to get
out again, you will optain an item from her.
Walk or teleport back to Henesys and go back to Athena Pierce. Talk with her
and she will tell you a long story.. skip it.
Choose your job (Crossbowman) or ask some information about it first.
Congratulations! Your a Crossbowman now! Press 'K' and you will see you have
a new tab! Woot! And a extra skill point! Woot!
Spend your skill point on Iron Arrow or if you don't want to waste your
precious skill point on that skill (however is very
usefull in mobs) put it in Crossbow Mastery.

problem at all! Here is some training information for the second job.
