    The Assassin Way

    INTRODUCTION

    Your goal for being an assassin is to be the highest lvl you can be and
    eventualy be known far in the game and also have fun doing it.

    THE JOURNEY HAS BEGUN

    First off i would like to say that IF YOU MAYBE MESSED UR CHARACTER UP OR
    NOT SURE READ THIS.
    Now for the assassin you want the rite stats not screwy stats so your weaker
    then normal Sins, so moving on sins DO NOT USE STRENGTH (str) OR
    INTELLIGENCE (int) what so ever and they wont help your character be "smart"
    or "strong" as i used to think from the BETA when i was a newb. So here are
    the STATS YOU NEED TO SURVIVE AS AN ASSASSIN. First try to roll the lowest
    str n int as possible by clicking the dice. They can both be 5 and 5 or 4
    and 4, But you want the best possible rite? Ok good so try your hardest to
    get 4 and 4 as i did.

    STR: 4 or 5
    DEX: any Now when your are lvling get DEX to 25 then keep
    INT: 4 or 5 maxing LUK...Your dex should be 40 above your
    level so
    LUK: any when your at lvl 40,Dex 80...lv.50-dex
    90
    Lv.60-dex 100 and DO NOT Have anything dex scrolled so u dont relie on
    that"something"

    Despite what other people will tell you, throwing a couple extra points into
    strength so you get through Maple Island easier IS TOTALLY FINE. All it will
    do is make your maximum damage like 2 lower or something. IF you really
    value your max dmg, then just don't put any into strength.

    P.S.> NEVER EVER PUT ANYTHING INTO HEALTH OR MAGIC!!! EVER!!!

    Ok i know everyone thinks its boring on Maple Island training on the same
    thing so this is what you should do.
    I found out the hard way its just as easy training on maple island, BUT if
    you go to Victoria island all of this will change. If you dont have enough
    MESO to ask the guy next to jane on the left to "Please take me somewhere
    else" you will have to go and walk but thats fine unless you would like to
    die by accidentaly runing into pigs extream spawns of slime ect. so just
    stay in Maple Island its easier.

    Now you will get bored of the train ing in maple island for 10levels but
    listen. When you first take off as a begginer talk to every1. As you get to
    town dont do any quests.Wait till lvl 8 at 80% and do enough quests to lvl
    you to get to 9. Then train at lvl 9 untill 30-40% (recomended 40%). Then
    all of the quest you did not finish, DO and you will probably lvl if not go
    train on something. Now you hit lvl 10 (DONT GO PAST IT OR YOUR GUIDE IS
    RUINED), what i did was get to 50% in Vic Island and save meso and went to
    KERNING CITY.

    P.S.~~ go to the guy i was talking about next to Jane in Lith Harbor and
    click on please take me somwhere else. Click on kerning.^-^ not a lot of
    people know about that.

    Disorder: Mastery Lvl; 20
    Temporarily decreases the morale of an opponent. Its weapon def. and attack
    will suffer, and the attacking enemy will suddenly stop attacking. Can't
    perform the attack on an enemy that's already in "disorder", however.

    Dark Sight: Mastery Lvl; 20
    Use MP to hide behind the shadows. While hiding, the enemy won't attack, but
    you can't attack back either. All movements other than attacking are
    available. It's temporary, so after a while, you'll be back to normal.

    Use MP to quickly stab an enemy twice at once using a dagger.( DONT USE!!! )

    Use MP to throw 2 throwing stars and apply damage based on LUK, regardless
    of the rate of javelin mastery.

    From Kerning taxi go up all those stairs untill you get to the top portal.
    Go threw da portal.Go left untill you see on your MINI-MAP A GREEN oval-ish
    shape.Now If hes not at the top right of the screan then you didnt get to
    him or you passed him. The 2nd job instuctor looks like a thief with 3
    throwing stars (shurikens) in his hand. Now lets say you asked a thief with
    2nd job how to get there and now you have 2nd job. Great now im going to
    show you MY BUILD that im using with MI ASSASSIN. Im also going to show you
    other builds i made n maybe even 1 or 2 my friend used.Now you will get
    until lvl 70 to use all your skills so do the math thats 121 SKILL
    POINTS!With that many skill points you can max CRITICLE THROW(30
    master)(imp)CLAW MASTERY(30 master)(imp)HASTE(20 master(should have)And
    DRAIN(not so imp. but does help your health) (30 master). Now here are the

    ---JAVELIN MATERY (20 maxed)(important)
    Increases the mastery of throwing stars and accuracy, along with the maximum
    number of throwing stars to recharge. It only applies when the character is
    throwing stars.

    CRITICLE THROW (30 maxed)(CRITICALLY IMPORTANT)
    Enables the character to make a critical attack with throwing stars on a
    certain success rate.

    ENDURE (20 maxed)(not so import unless your talking about drain)
    Additional recovery for both HP and MP even while hanging still on a rope or
    a ladder. The higher the level, the faster the recovery time, along with
    recovering additional amounts of both MP and HP.

    JAVELIN BOOSTER(20 maxed)(a little important)
    Use HP and MP to temporarily boost up the attacking speed of the claw. It
    only applies when the character is equipped with a claw throwing stars.

    HASTE(20 maxed)(should have maxed)
    Temporarily improves the speed and jumping ability of every member of the
    party.

    DRAIN(30 maxed)(can have if you would like) must have 3 endure
    Absorb some of the damage dished out to the enemy as HP. The most one can
    absorb at once is the character's MaxHP / 2, and can't absorb more than the
    MaxHP of the enemy.

    ~~~The 3rd Pathway Has Just Opened
    Go to El Nath - Chief Residence and speak to Arec. After talking to Arec,
    head back to Victoria Island and talk to Dark Lord which is located in
    Kerning City. Next, find the Door of Dimension located at Monkey Swamp II
    and it'll bring you to "The Path of the Glittering Crystal". Walk until the
    end of the path and enter the portal to defeat the wiseman's dark side to
    obtain the Black Charm.

    Return to Dark Lord and exchange the Black Charm for a Necklace of Strength.
    Return to El Nath after that and give the item to Arec. Head on to the Holy
    Ground at the Snowfield (Sharp Cliff II). 1 Dark Crystal is requirred to
    answer 5 questions to obtain the Necklace of Wisdom. Again, head back to
    Arec in El Nath and give him the Necklace of Wisdom.

    ~~~THE MOVES
    You're an assassin, okay, but you need to learn how to move like one. This
    includes the following moves:

    --USE THE TERRAIN - Jumping onto ropes and then jumping again can greatly
    increase your ability to jump over enemies. Same with those tiny platforms,
    like in Orbis Tower. Jump onto them and off. Use the terrain to YOUR
    advantage, not theirs.

    --PURSUER STRIKE - Jump, turn in the air and attack or use an attacking
    ability.

    --FALSE CHARGE - Run toward an enemy and jump over them. You may want to
    attack them first so you know they will continue toward you, helping you
    with the jump.

    --JUMPING FLURRY - When surrounded, just jump and Lucky Seven as much as u
    can.

    --WHEN ALL OF THE ABOVE^^^FAILS - Dark sight. Remember not to do this to
    evade a magic based attack.

    ~~~MARKET PRICES FOR ORES AND MATERIALS

    -STANDARD MINERAL AND JEWEL ORES - 1,000 mesos each.
    These include silver, bronze, orihalcon, adamantium, mithril, topaz,
    sapphire, garnet, aquamarine, amethyst... You get the drill. There are some
    exceptions to the 1k rule below.

    -STEEL - From 1,000 mesos each to 2,000 mesos each.
    Everyone needs steel, and the price is constantly rising. If you can't buy
    it for about 1.5k each, don't. You're being ripped off. If, incidentally,
    you see someone selling this within this bracket, then buy it. That's the
    general rule. You see someone buying steel and you can afford it, buy it.
    You need a LOT - especially if you're opting to make your claw rather than
    buy it from a player.

    -GOLD - 20,000 mesos each.
    These ores are valuable - very valuable. They always give the best upgrades,
    and most jobs need them. Sins should probably avoid Gold upgrades at all
    costs... They're a ripoff.

    -DIAMOND - 10,000-13k mesos each.
    Well, they are a girl's best friend. Diamond ores aren't exactly universally
    needed, but their drop rate is much rarer, so that's why the higher price.

    -BLACK CRYSTAL ORE - 20,000-40k mesos each?(who screwed dat up?!)
    These things are really expensive. Fill in the blanks for me, because I've
    never found one. (NOTE: After the first guide posting... I found one and
    sold it for 15k. ^_^)Do not be fooled by the name, these are a JEWEL ore,
    not a CRYSTAL ore. The way you can tell is that the jewel one is black ore,
    while the crystal one is dark ore. Do not get confused.

    -CRYSTAL ORES - 10,000 mesos each. DEX are 40,000-50,000 mesos each, and STR
    are 15,000.
    Wisdom and Luck are the most common, and that's why they are only 10k-50k.

    -DARK CRYSTAL ORE - 100,000 mesos each.
    Well, well. An ore worth 100k - who would have guessed?

    -LEATHER
    These are things you want - why are you selling them? They sell in shops for
    100mesos each, and most people will sell for that, but out of shops they can
    sell for up to 250-1k each which is now average price but it should be like
    50-100 like everything else. Usually they are somewhere in between.

    -DRAGON SKIN
    Like leather, but more expensive around 1k+. You work it out. They sell in
    shops for 200mesos each. If you can't find a buyer that's easy money.

    -SCREWS
    You'll need loads of these, so don't go giving them away. They sell for
    between 500 and 2,000 mesos each.

    -ORBIS TOWER SCROLLS (STATUE-TELEPORTING SCROLLS)
    Never have I found an item surrounded by so many arguments about what it is
    worth. I even found someone who adamantly insisted that they are worth 1,000
    mesos, since that's what they sell for in shops. You should know better by
    now. The ACTUAL price for these is usually between 7,000 mesos and 10,000
    mesos. Don't buy higher than 10k - You're getting ripped off.

    -LUDIBRIUM TOWER SCROLLS
    These are earned during a quest so check out www.hidden-street.net . Anywayz
    they are worth around 10-30k try to buy for 20k average but if u can get
    anything lower GREAT!!!

    -ROCK AND SCROLL
    Scrolling is a very useful tool as you get into the higher levels. 100%
    scrolls will always work, but are very common and have low bonuses. 60%
    scrolls will almost always work, and have fairly good bonuses. 10% scrolls
    rarely work, but if successful, give massive bonuses.
    To scroll an item, open your item and equip inventories and click once on
    the scroll, then once on the equipment.

    I will say this to you now. If you find any 10% or 60% scroll, keep it. You
    will learn, as you reach high levels, what each one of these scrolls are
    worth. If you have a high level friend you trust, ask THEM. For example, a
    60% glove scroll is worth 1,200,000-1,700,000 mesos but a 60% two-handed axe
    scroll is worth 60,000 mesos. This clearly shows why you need to learn the
    individual prices.

    ~~~TRAINIGN GROUNDS
    LEVEL
    1-15~ Henesys(mostly training grounds)

    15-20~Henesys(pig beach is really good or grn mush if u can 3 or 2 hits)

    21-30~ Kerning City PQ!(fastest and gets prizes

    31-34~ Ribbon Pigs, Boars, Fire Boars, Evil-Eye, Undead Zombie Mushroom,
    Mushroom Tree(Ellinia)

    35-50~ PQ in LUDIBRIUM, Train here AT LEAST untill lvl 39 then if u want
    train on these; Chronos(drops
    kumbis n TOBIS), ALL jr. kitty's, Toy Trojan, Gollem,and drakes (block in
    ludi ONLY)(if you can) And that is lvl
    39-41 without pq...Lvl 41-49 PQ is really handy every1 wants you in it so
    its easy to get in one at lvl 41-49 if not
    for lvl 41-49(mostly da drakes in perion) would have to be Platoon Chronos,
    Nependeath, Block Golem, Jr. Cerebes, Lunar Pixie, Copper Drake, King Block
    Golem, Tortie, Master Chronos, Dark Nependeath, Rombot, Wraith, Jr. Yeti,
    and Drake. Now
    for lvls 50-70 train in the lvl 50 cave or these in order Croco,Luster
    Pixie, ALL the kitty's,

    All the gollems,Hector,Malady,Dark Jr.Yeti,Coolie Zombie,Minor
    Zombie,White Pang,

    Red Drake (IMPORTANT fight wen u can 2-3hit and drops
    STEELYS!!!),Mushmom(drops
    ilbis),Pepe,Buffy,Wild
    Cargo,Soul Teddy,Dark Pepe,Yeti,Jr. Yeti (Transformed),Lazy
