A. the beginner

1. SO WHY BECOME A BOWMAN? WELL... I HAVE THE AWNSER TO
THAT.
well bowman at the beginning maybe a nightmare but...
dont rule out the fact they have critical damage thats
like 2x the damage 40% of the time... i know its not as
good as the assasins critical but we get in the first
job.
the other thing is we have the most ACCURACY and a good
amount of avoid'
oh yea... did u know we also have the longest range?
theres also not much haters of bowman becuz we dont
get played as much as sins & clerics
our early armour may look horrific, but check out our
lvl 35+ armours... there a beauty....

sooooo?, convinced... if you are keep reading.

summarised for the lazy...

pros:

longest range
good avoid
highest accuracy of any class out there
VERY good damage.
nice looking armours

cons:

cant jump shoot?!
the total lack of party skills makes us not as
valueble in a party
knockback is a problem, till you get 3rd job.
and sometimes our armours are outragously expensive

2.
str: any number will be fine.
dex: any number will be fine.
int: 4 or 5
luk: 4 or 5

the reason 4 or 5 for luk & int is... well you maybe
wondering more int means more magic def/att
that is true but the price you'll pay will be big
later on... as you might be missing points on dex
or str.

DEX: your primary stat. the higher it is the more
damage you will do. also used to wield bows and
wear armours

STR secondary stat... this is used for wielding
bows your str must be 5 above you level
(thats for the hunter and im talking about
hunters) all the other points goes into dex.

to summarise it.

for every level you gain you get 5 ap's.
at lvl 3 or 4 get your dex 5 above your
level after that every lvl put 1 into
str and the rest into dex.

dont put any into luk & int, there useless
too you...they will only make you weak.

kill stealing. in other words ksing. please dont do
this can only lead to the other guy getting mad and
and might get his frens and mass defame you...
imagine... you getting ksed you wouldnt like it
so dont do it to other people please.

scamming. scamming are for noobs who cant get what
they need. so they have to cheat to get it....
so please dont be a noob and scam... if u scam
someone might scamm you back. if u don like it
so doesnt the other guy. so dont do it

hacking. hacking are for fools who think there all
that. hackers also cant get there own monsters,
or cant be stuffed leveling. also...
imagine if a hacker vac'ed all the monster to him
wouldnt you get mad becuz... your missin out on xp?
so think 'bout that b4 you hack... altho i firmly
disapprove of it

looting without permission is also pretty noob.
only loot if you ask em and they say yes...
becuz they could of found something like tobi
and if u picked it up... you would basically
stole there cash
jst imagine if someone did that to you...
would you be pissed?

1. every level you get 3 sp's so this is how you
distribute them...

this is the most strongest build for hunter.
this build is only a rough outline.
you could use other builds.

so you need to train of course i reccomend these places
to train. best for this kind of levels.

lvl. 10-15. go to henesys hunting ground 1 (hhg1)
and train on the ground floor full of snails and mushies

lvl. 15-20. stay at hhg1 and go to the 1st platform
and start killing slimes...

lvl. 20-25. go to pig beach if its not as crowded...
or stay at hhg1 and start to kill orange mushrooms.

lvl. 25-30. go to the deep forest outside sleepywood
there should be green & horny mushrooms jst stay there
and start killing. this is where you start getting into
the 100s of k's becuz you'll prolly find a panlid, 10%
spear att scrolls and such. worth alot.

3.

lvl 10. generally keep your own clothes... you're only
training on the same thing only in a diffrent land...
or... you might of decided to train on slimes...
then you could find sweat pants & blue lined t-shirt
besides that... jst buy your 1st bow the war bow...
its all you really need

lvl 15. well keep whatever pants your wearing and get
green leather hoodwear... get a feather hat... u dont
need 'rings yet... but some woodship shoes and get
a composite bow.

lvl 20. get the leather bottom & top, get weight
earrings if you want. buy a pair of skin shoes
get archer some diros if u can and upgrade it to
green for +2 dex. and get a hunters bow.

lvl 25. grab the GREEN bennis top and bottom.
get also ethier green or blue bamboo hat.
also get gold 'rings also do the mystery at
niora hospital quest to get a old rag cape
keep you diros.
at lvl 26 get any colour of whitebottom shoes
and finnaly get a battle bow.

lvl.30 well you can keep the lvl 25 armour
its fine... the lvl 30 armour jst gives 5
more wep def. well if you do decide to buy
go for the green or dark set
well keep your bamboo hat, or buy hunters
hat no problems... get some emerald 'rings
get a pair of GREEN! snowshoes.
keep your cape coz theres no lvl 30 cape.
also keep you diros
finnally buy a ryden.

C.

1. ill show you the test in steps.

step 1. make sure you;re clean of sp;s then go to henesys
and meet athena piecre, she will give you a letter.
step 2. (optional) go to potion shop. get some blue &
white or orange pots
step 3. go to the map "the road to the dungeon" there will
be a lady & she is at the top right of the map... shes
the green blip.
go to her talk to her and she will teleport you to a
different map.
step 4. once inside the map start killing evil eyes
& zombie mushrooms. be warned they dont drop they're
usual stuff and they've got more hp and do more damage to
you. start killing and find 30 dark marbles.
step 5. once finished go back to the lady she will tele
you out of the map give you a medal of honour
step 6. go back to athena piecre and give her the medal
choose your job. choose hunter since im talking about
hunters if you choosed xbowman read no more.
you will get 1 free sp.

2.
it says skill distribution, but ill also give you in my
own words description of a skill.
lol if these words dont describe it well enough

mastery. used to boosten minimum damage. only get to
lvl 19 becuz lvl 20 only adds 1 acc

booster. ahh this is a fabulous skill boosten up the
spd of the wep... good for chunky & slow bows like
v2k. each lvl up, the effect ups for extra 10 secs
and decreases the cost of hp & mp by 1.

final attack. i personnally dont have this.
for a set amount of % you get to ramdomly
attack with an extra attack costing no mp

power knock back. and excellent skill
when maxed it does 140% damage and + 40 knockback
and also hits 6 monsters!, good to combo attack
with arrow bomb. when a mob is close to you.
pkb the monsters then arrow bomb... pure pwnage.

soul arrow. this is a skill that could save your
life if u had no arrows.
for a set amount of time you do not have to use
arrows. be warned doesnt work with steel or
bronze arrows.

arrow bomb. pretty good skill when maxed.
does 130% when maxed and a massive 60% chance
of stunning the monsters... this attack could be
better. like i said b4 its good to combo with
pkb... you can only cast this skill with a
bow in hand... and only atts 6 monsters maxed.

you may be wondering at the end there... why
focus & arrow blow?... well you wouldnt
have any skills left by lvl 66 and you rlly
dont want to put it on fa it'll stuff you up
thats why put the points in good use and
out on focus for extra acc and avoid
and ab for extra weak monster killing

ahhh where to train?... wanna know.... well ive got the
awnsers wot you.

lvl. 30-35. Ant tunnel 1/2/3 or 4 there are filled with
horny & zombie mushrooms. ant tunnel 4 is usually
empty so its the best map. its similar to ant tunnel 1
Wild boars at land of wild boars 1&2 are pretty good
good drops, they also drop ryden!
or you can try your luck at ossayria. with some
jr senitals they drop VERY good money for there
lvl. and aswell they drop a ryden if you did'nt have 1
already

lvl. 35-40. i personally stayed at ludi for brown
teddies they give a good 60 xp per kill
they drop pretty reasonable items especially
wisdom & steel ores.
i collected over 25 wisdom ores and over 50
steel ores.
like in v.01, there are 3 choices fire boars
on vic island they give pretty reasonable drops
but not good value in exp = hp.
and you can always try jr kitties at the garden
at ossayria... and try to find some kumbis, bow &
claw scrolls, you can make a choice also.
if you're thinking of ludi pq. dont do it here.
you wont be accepted wait till your lvl 40+

lvl. 40-50.AHH THIS IS WHEN IT BECOMES FUN!
in the early 40s i suggest going to garden
i mean jr kitties try jr grupin they're drops
are the best outta all 3 jr kitties there main drops
are... kumbi,60% wand scroll and maybe sky blue
umbrellas... oops
well from lvl 43 to about 49... try training at
chronos. they drop pretty good with mystic shield
and all. they give good exp. 84 i believe.

and last but not least from 40-50 you can always do
pq as a option... but becareful, unless you get good
drops you'll be losing money like hell. because
your using up pots & not gaining any money...
from pq gennreally you get bout 30k per pq and items.

lvl. 50-60. accordingly to my guide at the early 50s
you should of have arrow bomb or fa maxed. so you
would kill alot faster now.

its a bit sad that theres no more pq.

try master chronos in your early 50s &/or copper
drakes(these drop a good scroll 10% att scroll
for claw) if you do not like these monsters try clangs
at florina
another good alternative is drakes at the dungeon....

for the late 50s try other monsters like stone stone
gollems and dark stone gollems and at the construction
sites try and go for some wraiths these guys drop whips
and such worth alot of money. not to mention all these
monsters drop alot of clean cash.

lvl. 60-70. this is your last 10 levels before 3rd job
so you might want to lvl fast?... well...

these monsters might be behind mainstream of other
characters but here goes nothing
zombies,zombies and zombies all the way if you like
but do expect some rude clerics there zombies also drop
zombie teeth. if you have a permit you could get rich
for the expensense of you going to sleep & waking up lol

other ones are growned kitties. lioner drops 60% 2h
sword for att scroll worth alot of money to fellow
warriors... try to sell to warriors above you level
they should have alot of money
crocos fetch good exp. but not a good idea.

at the end of you 60s try tauromacis... maybe its a
tad insane, but u can handle it for good exp
and red drakes drop steelys good for money for a sin?
since your training on drakes and not hunting you
might find more sets of steelys. but be warns
the map whre red drakes are a fully packed most of
the time buy hunters(the one who hunts not you)

lvl 35. get green or dark legoller set from the fm
also trading that sweaty ole bamboo hat for a
polefeather would be nice. get some sapphire or
cats eye 'rings.
ethier keep your hunter boots or snowshoes or
get the silky boots for lvl 35 buy a gold scaler
or get from john in 1 of his jump quests.
keep your cape.
get a red viper. you can get these fairly cheap
nowadays... altho i got mine for 120k and it was
clean 53 att XD

lvl 40. get ethier dark or brown set of piette
grab a green or a dark distinction. you may
wanna trade your scalers for braces... well if you
are dont get gold... same dex more def... get dark
it gives a massive +3 dex!
you may wanna switch you boots now for a blue or a
brown pair of pierre boots +3 dex!
dont forget a nice pair of blue moons
and at lvl 42 trade you cape for a icarus cape.
now for a battle of the bows. you may want a vaulter
but its dam slow... but it has power over speed
or you might wanna scroll your viper??... most
people have trouble wit this

and if you rich at lvl 43... get a maple soul singer
for like 1mil +

lvl 50. take of you piettes and get into an overall
try and get a blue kismet, but red is also fine
(in my opinion blue looks good with olympus and red
looks nice with viper-_- maybe you scrolled your
viper better than the lvl 50 bow?) get a dark
red or green maro
trade in your icarus cape of a napleon???
naples dont give any special stats so dont for now.
time to get dark willow... sell you brace.
get a pair of steel tipped shoes...
and also get heart/skull 'rings
time to get a olympus unscrolled average cost 'bout
500k - 1mil.
a godly scrolled one could cost anywhere between
3-10mil
it all comes down to how much money u have at the
end of the day.

lvl 60. sell that fugly kismet and get a tai
overall ethier blue or red is fine... they both
give in dex
buy a beautiful poly feather hat ethier dark
or white( not "pole"feather, its "poly"feather)
get gore boots from a quest in henesys by a girl
named maya. buy a dark garner. get a magic cape
from a quest named alcaster and the dark cystal
also get the most pink & girlish things
barbie... pink flower earrings
and last but not least get a asianic bow...
these cost so much it isnt a laughing matter
buy a clean asianic and scroll yourself
get ethier 7 100%,60% or 10%.... you'll
be the most lucky person if all 7 10% works.
if you scrolled your bow lucky you might
not even have to buy a hinkel...

here are the skills in my opinions.

strafe!. good skill even at lvl 1. fires 4 arrows
at once... imagine at maxed lvl, 100% per arrow lol
thats 400% alone without critical... with all
critical imagine the damage... 800%!!!!
overall this is the best skill the bowman will
ever have i think....
its your main attacking skill from bout 75+

arrow rain!. really goood mob skill...
no minimum range and does like 150% at maxed.
the monsters caould be right next to you and you
can still go KABAM! to em.

fire arrow!. nothing special really.
good for taking down yetis and pepes lol
its also a mob attack...
i would prefer snipers ice arrow better
because it freezes

hawk!. like having your own pet...
but to take it seriously not good
for damage... but good for its stunning
abilities. cost 1 summoning rock.
overall not worth it at a low level.

thrust!. no more beggin for haste
its permanent speed! omg like so fast!

puppet!. summons a funny look puppet
this is the utimate skill for boss
fighting... be warn it has its own hp
will die even b4 the time runs out.
overall pretty good skill worth maxing

mortal blow!. this is the most
dangerous skill ever... 1 hit ko... if
the monster is below 50%!!!! hp
even works on bosses... like omg!
(i think) but this is good for its
damage 250%... when there straight up
to you.

this build consist of no thrust at all for
1 reason... if ur gonna have power...
why add speed?
as you can see you max strafe 1st because its
you primary attacking skill from about 75
onwards... and arrow rain comes 2nd
because it has no mininmum range
at that lvl you'll be training at very cramped
spaces, so its a good idea to have arrow rain
after that the rest is yours to imagine.

As you can see in this build there is no
silver hawk.
i reckon you dont need it in this build
it does pathetic damage and it stuns only
one person a time. if u wanna stun use arrow bomb

i added thrust because usefull for running away
puppet is also maxed in this build because good
for defence and good boss decoy!
the rest is the same like i said strafe is your
primary attacking skill lvl 75 and after.

as you can see in this build its for all
those true hunters/rangers out there.

because real hunters always have a animal
with them(silver hawk for you!) and there
fast. no to mention hunters are good
at make decoys(puppet) hunters are one with
the forest...so keeping in mind with that
i only have lvl 1 fire shot for it at the
last lvl.
and also strafe is maxed first.

2.
where to train huh?... i get abit lost from here.

lvl 70-75. when perfecting strafe on what ever
build. your strafe will be weak from 70-75
so try training on softer monsters...
coolie & minor zombies are the best for your
weak leveled strafe... i suppose you could
kill them in 1 or 2 ds's or 2-3 strafes.
if u want a challenge!? train at yetis
they give good items and exp but it'll
take you longer to kill one.

lvl 75-85. bains all the way throgh these lvls
bains should give bout 0.03,0.04 or 0.05%
pretty good for 45k hp...
by this time you should have strafe at a decent
lvl and arrow rain should of arrived at the 80s
also around here try some lycans and werewolves
really good exp and lycans drop ilbis.

lvl 85-100. try going to master death teddies
at this level try to party with a cleric.
and at your 90s try some viking ships
they give alot of good exp... this part im
actually a bit lost...

lvl 100-120. theres no better place now...
besides thantos & gatekeepers jst train
here all the way... and besides from a
thantos you might find a fairfrozen!

3.
obviously you need armour so this my
clothing guide.

lvl 70. buy a ethier dark or green linnex
and according to your linnex buy ethier
dark or green patriots
try for some dark eyes gloves.
and try and find your elf shoes... but
there quite rare... dont see much rangers
wearing them.
get metal ring earrings at lvl 70.
by this time you need earrings because your
training on magical monsters with
hard hitting magical attacks.
do NOT forget the serahp cape at lvl 75
nice looking cape. but not much of these
have been found on global so yea...
now for a battle of bows.
at lvl 70 your bow is hinkel.
if you asianic happens to stronger than
a hinkel, than dont buy a hinkel.
accordingly to you builds buy a specific
hinkel... for power build get golden
that adds speed. the other 2 builds can
go for any of them.

lvl 80. lvl 80: buy a dark pris the dark
now gives more than the green, you can
buy any of the falcons wotever suits
you because they all add dex
its jst dark and green add more.
sell your elf boots and
buy dark wing boots and buy a dark cordon
although these ones are to make try making
green get a red falcon
along with 1 dex crystal 1 power cystal, 7 emerals
and 110k shouldnt be much for you. and get
the metal heart earrings
(earrings are REAL IMPORTANT because
you'll be fighting monsters with high magic att)
and try to find a giles cape now or when it
comes out on maple global,
the giles cape is the lvl 85 one try to find
1 when it comes out
again get golden or dark arund,
golden gives +3 jump.
and since 1 of my builds dont have thrust
i suggest making up for that by buying the
dark arund because it gives +10 speed

 

lvl 90. time to buy a dark adnes
the most beautiful of beautiful
helmets on ms the dark arlic helmet.
not much of the arlic helms have been found on global
so it might be expensice and rare
since there is no lvl 90 gloves
you will have to keep dark/green cordon
untill they have one, and to make
you set nicer get dark ades shoes.
and dont forget musketeer cape
when its realeased on global
so far it hasnt been. the musketeer
cape your lvl 95 one
and the last bit of armour is the rose earrings.
metus are rare... but ive seen some
ppl have it altho i dun think
there gonna sell it...
